Am I out of order?

I have been on light duties - 5/6 hrs over 3 days, due to a back problem. I should be on 10 hrs a day.
My boss keeps making sarcastic comments, and going on about it all the time. yesterday he said I wasn't entiltled to a lunch break, even though I never have one anyway ! ( I sit at the desk and eat whilst I work)
I lost my temper after putting up with it for months. ( I am 35 wks, and due to finish work in 3 wks).
So, I had a rant, not aimed directly at him, and said the 'F' word in the rant - twice!!
He made me go in another office, and tore a strip off me.
He said he wanted me to go back up to 8 hrs a day, and that I should have stayed on at work to deal with a job. Alsorts of things he wants me to do, but probably shouldn't be doing in my job role.
I appologised for swearing, saying it was unprofesional. But I am still really angry at him making these comments and the way he shouted at me, and treated me.
I feel like just going off sick for the next few weeks, but dont want to give him the satisfaction of me giving in !!!
Eeryone in the office agreed I shouldn't have swore, but that he is out of order.
What dou you think?

your boss sounds like an utter shit, csuse my french!
as a pregnant employee you should be having some form of regular risk assessments, as your needs etc change the more pregnant you get. i think your boss should count himself lucky your still at work so heavily pregnant.

I said I didn't feel appreciated, meaning that I had been going in work, sometimes in a bit of pain, as I don't want to let anyone down!
I thought I was going to have the baby two days ago, so I went home. As I hobbled out of the office, I then had to drive half an hour home, with sickness and stomach cramps.
I wanted to call in sick the next morning, but had a meeting at 9am. So when I went in, I was told it had changed to 12.30, and that I should stay on to deal with the job.
He didn't even ask how I was. hence the start of the argument.
soooooo pissed off !!!!

That sounds awful and like your boss is could be in serious trouble saying those things. I think it is understandable that you swore a couple of times given what you have put up with and you did he right thing apologising straight away.

Do you have a HR dept, do you work for a small or large company. Find someone to talk to about this treatment and complain and get some support.

Good luck
