I need to buy a couple of pairs of combats (I work as Countryside Ranger but do not want to buy new for scruffy work) also jeans etc. Theres some on e-bay but I'd rather just pay one lot of postage, anyone got any recommendations?

eBay's got some pretty good bundles - if you do a search on maternity (size) bundle they'll come up.

yes ebay, type in isabella oliver in the search or maternity jeans, skirts etc and lots of results come up.

Or when you look on eBay for one thing (e.g. combats) check to see what else the seller has on sale. A lot of people selling maternity clothes have more than one item for sale and many sellers offer discounts on combined postage.

I got all my maternity clothes on ebay for a pittance. Some really excellent stuff. A little hit and miss, but if you're only spending a tenner on 5 pairs of jeans, what's to complain about.

Well I've already won some jeans on e-bay, see what they're like when I get them, bidding on some other bits. Will try beansprog too. Sirboobalot i'm size 12ish, but need shortish trousers as I'm only 5ft 2 so going for next petite or shortish 29' leg ones!

What great suggestions, I'll look on EBay too. Have just given myself a headache trying to fit on size 16 mat stretchy trousers from H&M - didn't realise in the store they are super skinny fit, they don't fit my legs (I've got smallish bump and legs same as usual, but trousers have no zip or buttons, so they are a pain to pull up). Why would anybody make skinny trousers for pregnant women?

Futuremum, I'm right there with you- am usually a 12, now in some size 14 maternity trousers and had to buy size 20 in H&M yesterday! Even the size 18s had drainpipe legs! This is such a useful thread, am heading onto eBay now, thanks.

Worth having a look at New Look IMHO, you can buy online and I found some great jeans (boyfriend fit and bootcut NOT skinnies) and some good tops too for very reasonable price.

Went to New Look on the weekend. Agree with Montifer that they have some good stuff. It was too busy on a sat though so will go back some other time. They have more choice instore than online.

Sounds like its worth visiting a decent size new look then - the one near me is quite small and doesn't have any maternity stuff, but I'll probably get to a city one sometime in the next couple of months. THanks disenchanted, that'd be great
