2nd baby - new moses basket mattress??

Hi All,

Have posted this in Chat too, but looking for some opinions on what is best to do!

Looking for advice on whether I should buy a new mattress for our moses basket for the new baby (due on a few months). It was bought about 3.5 years ago and used for our DS for about 6 months.

Not sure whether I should buy a new one (SIDS, etc) or do you think it would be ok to wash the mattress cover/air mattress and use it again?

Opinions welcomes please!!

OMG I'd say it was fine. They're like planks anyway, so it not like its going to be missapen with a big dip for th baby to suffocate it. And it was used for your own child so you know where its been. And it not like babies use moses baskets for that long anyway. I would really truely save your money for something else.
