15 weeks and worried something has gone wrong

For about a week I have felt nothing and its starting to worry me.

I was feeling stretching pain and had pain in coccyx when sitting, now I have no pain at all, which although should be a good thing I am worried something has gone wrong in the last week.

I heard babys heartbeat 2 weeks ago and everything was fine and I am getting some symptons such as funny taste in mouth and tiredness.

But I am so worried because I no longer have pains and I've heard that you should start showing earlier with your 2nd pregnancy but I am not showing at all.

Am I overeacting?

13 weeks was very early for you to hear anything, lots of mws/gps won't have a listen much before 15/16 weeks. IME these pains and niggles come and go, shouldn't be a source of worry for you - but give your mw a call and get some reassurance, I would think she'd be happy to talk to you. Are you due to see her soon?

MW did say she wasn't sure if she would hear anything when she listened but we clearly did and she said it sounded fine.

The next time I am due to see anyone is at my 20wk scan in June.

Hi LionHeartedMama,
Please try not to worry. Stretching pains come and go as your body changes. I would say that feeling tired is a good sign since it is so normal in pregnancy. However, you will feel better if you hear this from an expert so why not give your midwife a ring and discuss it with her? Does your GP surgery have a community midwife? If so you could explain that you are worried and ask if they will fit you in to listen to the heart beat again.
Good luck

i wouldnt worry that your not showing, yeah most ppl show earlier in 2nd pregnancys, but its not a hard and fast rule, i had a small bump but wasnt showing, as in obviously pregnant until about 20odd weeks, if not further on (im not skinny, but not huge either).

if you are really worried give the community midwives a call, explain your worries and im sure they can arrange for you to be seen sooner to put your mind at rest
