Recently my bump has been very sore across the top and it is getting worse.
The skin shows no sign of any trauma, perfectly smooth and healthy, it is very well moisturised.
Also the soreness seems to come and go, often when i am sitting still so it can't be anything rubbing.
Could it be the stomach muscles stretching? It feels as if it is on the surface not underneath.
Anyone experienecd the same thing or got any ideas to combat this?

Is it at top of bump under your norks? I'm getting pain there and it's a bugger.

I have blamed the fact that I've gone from a D to a F cup and they are bloody heavy.

It is there but they are not rubbing and there is no sign of any chafing.

sounds similar, one of the joys of pregnancy

it sounds similar to what i had in pg1 and again now although earlier this time in pg2.

just at what would be top of bump right under boobies. i describe it like a burning stretching sensation very uncomfortable. Don't know for sure what it is but i assumed it was muscles and skin stretching.

My boobies (although enormous for me) are not big enough to cause chafing. From my recollection it does go away after a while don't exactly know when.

Sounds like the same thing that i have. Gets worse im afraid. Very very painful at times. They call it rib spreading which damages the nerves. It is numb too. I started a thread about it a while ago (www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/938675-Pain-at-the-top-of-my-bump) which had some helpful comments
