I just wanted to shout from the roof tops that im having a BOY!! I alreay have 2 beautiful boys and adding one more to my lovely collections makes my family complete!

Everyone was so desperate for me to have a Girl, it was really starting to annoy me. Im a firm believer that you get what your given and falling pregnant is a mirical in itself- there are so many families that cant have children that i feel so proud and lucky to have healthy wonderful boys!

I am so excited and over joyed that I wasnted to share my news!!

Thanks for listening

Congratulations on your pregnancy (from a mother of 3 girls, who was not disappointed either).

Congratulations. Mum of 3 wonderful boys here and pg with number 4. Isn't it annoying when people assume you keep trying for the other gender? I'll be delighted with a boy or girl.

Enjoy your lovely son.

tabbycat7 · 17/05/2010 10:14

Congratulations! I have three boys too and I love it!

Mishy1234 · 17/05/2010 10:20

Congratulations! I have one boy and am currently 38 wks with another.

Tbh I wasn't fussed either way, but when I found out I was having a second boy I was, like you, absolutely delighted! Really looking forward to seeing the 2 of them grow up together.

EightiesChick · 17/05/2010 10:31

Congrats! I have one boy and he's delightful. What a fab household you will have

Mimi1977 · 17/05/2010 10:57

Congratulations!! I know what you mean, I have a daughter and am pregnant with second. So many people say ohhh I bet you want a boy so you have one of each. They don't believe me when I say I don't care!! I'd love three children and if they are all the same I don't care - I just feel blessed to be pregnant.

lostinwales · 17/05/2010 11:01

Congratulations from another mother of three boys, it is wonderful (and occasionaly like having a houseful of lion cubs when they roll around play fighting!)

bibbitybobbityhat · 17/05/2010 11:04

Aww that is an absolutely gorgeous post! Congratulations . I am not going to have a third child but its very pleasing to see that the scans and pregnancy and everything are just as exciting as first time around.

mum of 3 boys here too - many congratulations mummaHG for becoming a full on MOB.

DS3 only just here so not sure how he'll get with the other first but they love each other and play together so well. Think it's lovely for them to have same sex siblings. However I warn you if you're in for the following comments when he hatches:

  1. you have your hands full...(is that just cos they're boys??)

  2. are you going to keep trying till you get a girl? - (I'd actually love 4 kids so v jealous of you gregoryhouse but don't care what it would be and know it would probs be a boy - it certainly wouldn't stop me if it were)

  3. you've almost got your 5 a side team..

  4. did you see that show where they had 8 boys...?' (and no I didn't BTW)

  5. oh well at least you've got all the clothes you can use again..

  6. AND most annoyingly (fecking rudely) - 'ahh - never mind'

Congratulations again and enjoy.

LaDiDaDi · 17/05/2010 11:11

Congratulations .

I have a dd and a ds but would like a third dc, get a bit irritated when people say "Why, when you've aleady got one of each?." I want a child of any gender!

laughalot · 17/05/2010 11:13

Congrats, I have one of each but two ds or two dd wouldnt have bothered me one little bit.

BessieBoots · 17/05/2010 11:16

Yaaaaay!Congrats! I have two lovely boys, and would love another. When I was pg with DS2 a friend said, "I hope you have a girl, all the best people have one of each!"
Needless to say, she's a friend no more...

Xavielli · 17/05/2010 11:30

Congrats!! I'm the same as LaDiDaDi, I have a DS and a DD and people are always asking why I'm pregnant again - Um, because I want another child. Ignore and enjoy your lovely children!

DomesticG0ddess · 17/05/2010 12:29

Congratulations! I can't believe people would say such mean things about having another of the same sex. I have a DS already and I will be thrilled with either sex for sibling for him and can't wait to find out at my 20 week scan in a couple of weeks!

FoghornLeghorn · 17/05/2010 12:34

Massive Congrats

I am mum to 3 beautiful DD's and wouldn't change it for the world ! Some people's comments are awful aren't they, I got the boy comments left right and centre when pregnant with DD3

MummaHG · 17/05/2010 21:22

Thanks for all your lovely comments, its so wonderful to share lovely news with people who understand.

Im due in Sept so am 22 weeks now, my DS are 4 years and 11 months and right now they get on so well and are very loving towards eachother- its lovely to watch!

Its all boys in my family so far as I also have 3 Nephews with another one (or possibily a Neice) on the way so between us we do really have a 5 a side team and its great!

Being one of 3 Girls myself its lovely to have some boys in the family- my parents are so proud of them all!!

Enjoy all your lovely children, boy, girls and new arrivals on the way- its just the best job in the world being a mummy xx
