I was breach at 32 wk appointment, and have been shakeing my ass in the air for the past two weeks.
The midwife got my hand, and I felt the babys head, which was inbetween my ribs.
I've tried to prod and feel it this week, but havn't a clue what I am grabbing / prodding.
Plus, I feel a bit wierd about prodding too hard!
I was wondering if anyone knows how to tell what position it is in, as I'm fed up of constant rocking about all night!!

My ds was breech until 34 weeks and I felt him turn, in the middle of the night - it was such a strange feeling and it woke me up, no way could I have slept through it!

Where are you feeling kicks? While still breech I was being kicked very very low. When he turned I could feel his knees in the middle of my tummy where they weren't before.

Also a head is harder than a bum!

My kitchen floor has never been cleaned so much since!

I am not even sure that mws get it right some of the time. At 37+2 my mw told me DS's head was engaged. Three days later he was born by em cs as he was undiagnosed back-to-back, footling breech!

I feel a scrapeing sensation down below, nothing really above my belly button. Most kicks are belly button level on the right hand side. rock hard and bumpy across the middle of my stomach.
But having said this it seems to change everyday?
I know they can change at the last minute, but starting to worry bout cs, as was I'm looking forward (hopeing) to a straight forward natural birth again?

i was breech at 33 weeks and although my lil one wriggles like a trooper, i knew she had turned but was clueless as to whether she had done a 180 or 360!! the midwives and consutlant can make a pretty good educated guess by feelingn around, but theres no way to know for sure unless you have a scan. if they think your still breech they will normally book you for a scan at 37 weeks to check the position, as at 37 weeks the liklihood of them moving position again is small
