Cold symptoms and early labour

Just wondering if anybody has had any experience of developing cold symptoms (sore throat, congestion, headaches) just prior to the onset of labour? Thanks in advance.

not heard of cold symptoms being a possibility of oncoming labour, but you never know!
you probably just have a cold, sorry!!!

I had read somewhere that cold symptoms could be due to hormone changes affecting your mucous systems as the cervix starts dilating, but just wondered if there was any truth in it. I think you may be right ktwiltshire, I probably just have a cold! At this stage, I am willing to interpret anything as evidence that labour is imminent!
