I have had 2 children and both times all my pregnancy test results were negative bar one on my 2nd child one month in which was very very faint.

I have Night Sweats, nausea, leg cramps, I have been sick twice, I had lost a stone on a diet and suddenly I have bloated up like a pig within a 2 week space, I am on the pill but I am bleeding and have been for 7 days, I have a rash around my nose and mouth.

What do you think? I am booked in to the doctors on Tuesday. I am very worried.

I've got no idea esandi, but hope you feel better soon and get the result you hope for x

Did you have similar symptoms in your first two pregnancies?

Do you normally have periods? When was your last one?

esandi · 16/05/2010 22:50

No I am on the pill normally a tri cycle i.e I take it for 3 months solid then break. Had a whole 30 days left before a break. and yes it was similar before.

Hmm. I think that you know your own body best. Did you bleed during your previous pregnancies too?

I take it you are less than thrilled about a new baby?

esandi · 16/05/2010 23:00

I bled for 12 days at 7 weeks with first baby. Both were c secs and I was warned not to have more as it would be dangerous. I had a laperoscopy in Dec 09 as well. I am worried and not thrilled as I would worry for the babies health.

Sorry to hear that you are so worried. Do you think that you could get an earlier appointment, or go to an Early Pregnancy Unit to be seen earlier? I know it is only a day, but a day seems like a lifetime when you are so worried.

esandi · 16/05/2010 23:12

I would but my 3 year old has an appointment with a neurologist tomorrow and I cant miss it. Its a pain but I dont want her to miss her appointment as she missed last week. I am worried though

That is hard for you. Hope you get the result you are hoping for. Good luck.

Hmmm, that doesn't sound too typical of pregnancy symptoms although your past experiences sound particularly unique to you. I always heard that it's hard to get pregnant for a long time even AFTER stopping the pill because it throws your cycle & your body out of sync & it takes a while to get back to normal.

I'd get to a GP when you can & explain your concerns & symptoms & request an early pregnancy test, sometimes they offer a pregnancy blood test don't they, and that's meant to read the faintest traces of the pregnancy hormone.

Failing that, when I fell pregnant I took a First Response on the same day my period was meant to happen, I wasn't even late yet & the teat was positive. When I went to my GP she calculated that I was only about 3 weeks pregnant & now I'm 22 weeks gone. So First Response tests are very sensitive & excellent for early detection.

If you have had sex then you could be pregnant.
