Positive pregnancy test but no symptoms

Hi,

After TTC no 2 for 2 years, I finally got a BFP today. However, I'm stunned as I've got absolutely no pregnancy symptoms.

With DC1 I was suspicious very early on that I was pg because I was suddenly ravenously hungry, had really sore boobs, then I quickly got morning sickness and travel sickness, heightened sense of smell, blocked up nose, constipation (tmi - sorry), basically the works.

This time, my boobs are a tiny bit sore (but no more than normal pre-menstrually) and I've felt a little bit odd for the last week. It was only because I realised my period was 2 weeks late I thought I'd better take a test.

Don't get me wrong, we're delighted with the BFP, but I'm just worried that I don't feel pregnant. Has anyone else gone through this?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yep, no symptoms at all with DS, lots with DD. I think you get used to feeling like crap when you already have a child so perhaps don't notice

Congratulations!

yes with ds (DC1) I knew I was pregnant almost from the moment of conception with very strong symptoms.

With this one (DC2) although we had been TTC for a while (about 18 months) it wasn't until dh suggested I was very late that I thought to do a test.

Had no symptoms till 6-8 weeks gone. However this pregnancy has been a lot harder than my first since then (plus stirred up a lot of mental health problems) - constant exhaustion, pain in hips and everywhere else, strong sense of smell, going off all food, morning sickness. Although I had strong symptoms to start with ds they faded away soon enough.

However maybe part of the not noticing any symptoms was that I was recovering from swine flu at the time. I put the constant exhaustion down to that (that was the only thing I remember).

Now 29 weeks and still constantly exhausted along with everything else .

Yes, with all 3 successfull pregnancies. I never had any symptoms. In fact I only teasted all three times to prove my mum wrong .

i had virtually no symptoms with both DD1 and DD2, dont forget a positive pregnancy test is a pretty good and solid symptom!!
