Movements at 34 weeks

Just wondered if anybody has got any opinions about movements at 34 weeks.

Like most other people Ive loved feeling my baby move and having the reassurance that that brings.

However, over the last week or so I'm starting to find the movements really uncomfortable and on the verge of painful - particularly on a night.

Obviously I want to continue feeling the baby move but just wondered if this sounds normal to other folk (Im a 1st timer).

I'm also wondering if Im having BH too?

This isn't a moan type post just simply wondering if it's normal to start finding the baby's movements rather uncomfortable.

Thanks x

yes i found them very painful towards the end where i would stop to literally breath through it.

it is very normal, i remember crying one night because the baby kept stick something bonie through my belly button and i was so tired lol. but i had a big bubba and im only small like 5ft so there really wasnt alot of room at all by 37 weeks.

Thanks for your response - glad to hear it's not just me. I was beginning to think that I was being a bit wuss as it actually made me cry out in bed last night!

it does hurt when they have less space, for a while they continue (in my experience) to try and move as much despite not having the space to do it, which thus causes it to become painful!

Yes, think you're right. I starting to feel guilty that Im feeling a bit freaked out by it's more recent movements!

Still, certainly not complaining as definitely glad that it's still being active!

Mine has just been kicking off, as I read this. I had forgotten how uncomfortable it is! The kicking is bad enough, but I really hate the scraping feeling under the belly button. But like you say, I should be gratefull? so i'm trying to enjoy it - if you can!? lol

I tend to feel more of my movements higher up at the moment. According to the midwife it's head is down towards my pelvis and it's back is round to my left side facing my front. So, Im guessing the movements Im feeling are it's bum and legs?! Bit confusing really.
