Pains at 14 weeks

Can anyone reassure me please? I'm 15 weeks on Sunday. I have 3DC and seem to have forgotten everything about being pg.

I had a mc in Feb last year and have not enjoyed this pegnancy so far as I have been worried it will go the same way. Had a scan and all ok which has reassured me.

However, my sickness is passing, which should be a good thing but it was something I held onto as a good sign of still being pg.

For the past few days I have had pains either low down on the left or the right or sometimes in the middle just above my pubic bone. Is this normal? Is it to do with ligaments?

Could well be just ligament pain but see your GP or mw with a urine sample, it could be a urine infection. That's how mine started. In which case you want to get it treated asap. They are very common in pregnancy but often don't have the characteristic burns-when-you-wee feeling that you tend to get with cystitis. Good luck.

I think 14 weeks is very common for pains - I definitely had lots then. When I googled, a website confirmed this, but I can't find it now. I think relaxin peaks about now?? I'm sure it's ok x

Thank you both for replying, sorry not been back earlier, I had to go to work.

They have eased off this evening but I think I'll give the midwife a call in the morning anyway.

Thanks again.

I had very bad pains at around 13-14 weeks and the obs said it was round ligament pain. She said as long as I felt ok in myself, had no bleeding or fever then it was almost certainly ligaments.

I dreaded having them for the rest of the pregnancy as it was agony - I could barely walk, but it went off about 2 weeks later, and now at nearly 26 weeks I haven't had any pain back since those early days.

I am sure it is just your ligaments. Like you I had a mc in January and am now 17 weeks, so have not enjoyed being pregnant either, and have been worried about every little niggle, but all has been fine. I also had v bad indigestion in the first 12 weeks, which was right down in my right side, which really felt like period pain, but was definitely guts.
