Hola,

Got my blood work results back after the 12 week scan, well I say got back, heard nothing for 2.5 weeks so chased and they told me 1:32,000. I am age 31.5 and 14.5 weeks.

Apparently that's pretty good?

Anyone of a similar age got their results?

your very lucky, i will never get those bloods done again, i am 26 and got results back when i was pregnant of 1:13! told me i was very high risk, and advised me on an amniocentisis, which can cause miscarrage, they test the fluid around the baby, stick a big nedly in your tummy, i had to wait 3 weeks to get that done, then 3 weeks for the result, put an huge amount of pressure on me and hubby and i was so depressed, everything came back completely normal, what a relief! so i wouldnt worry about it if youare, your certainly not high risk or anything!! x

Wow sounds like you went right through the mill on that. Glad it worked out in the end.

Just got the letter through this morning confirming the reslults.

I'm the same age as you, 18 weeks pg.

We had results of 1/11 for down syndrome and 1/42 for Edwards syndrome so not v good. That was based on scan only so had the quad test last week, awaiting results as we speak.

try not to worry chick, it made me and my DP very very stressed, and did you know that they are only 60% accurate anyways with the high risk and risk results,(so i was told) i will never get them again, whole lot of worry for nothing! your little angels will be absoltley fine! and whatever the outcome you will have beautiful perfect children regardless. i hated waiting for the results, its the longest wait!xx

I got same results with first baby, same age as you and slightly lower for second.
My sympathies go to those with a higher risk, it must be a very difficult and worrying time.
Hope you all get good results in the long run
