I only tried it on one nipple for about 15 min, to see if it actually does anything... now getting grumbly contractions and thinking "what have I done?" lol

Tell me it takes more than one session to kick things off!?

Good to know! How many weeks are you? It's not too early is it?

39+4 so it's all good except waaah! scary!

It'll probably come to nothing though won't it?

Share your technique James!

Think we are due date buddies!?! 14th May?

frosty

morethemerrier, all I did was put my palm over the area and rub in a circle like the guide said. I doubt that can truly be enough to kick things off, I went to 40+5 with my first.

morethemerrier · 11/05/2010 22:01

Will try rubbing next!

Are you still getting rumblings?

Good luck!

TheMarquisofCranberry · 11/05/2010 22:01

JAMES! I didn't even know you were pg I once sided with you on a very angry thread about a freecycler turning up at the wrong time. Anyway congrats and carry on twiddling

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 11/05/2010 22:15

lol MarquisofCranberry - how random that that thread came to mind!

Still getting quiet contractions but think they're slowly calming down. Phew.

No no no! Not phew! Keep twiddling! We need a live action labour thread!

I had a good old twiddle, and must admit it did seem to produce some strong BH?!?

Don't know if it was a coincidence as I've been having them anyway!

Maybe James had better results!

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 12/05/2010 09:00

No all tailed off, but I can see how if I'd kept it up it might have lead to something! Today wouldn't have been the best day to go into labour anyway as the person who is going to mind ds is working. She's off tomorrow though so might give it another go this evening if I'm feeling brave.
