Leaky Boobies! (TMI)

I am 29 weeks and for the last 4 weeks my boobs have been dripping. To the point that it ends up running down me and covering my stomach and legs.

This is getting bloody annoying and pretty sore. Am I the only one?

Your not the only one, ive been leaking since about 24/25 weeks also. get yourself some really good breastpads to keep yourself clean and dry.

every couple of days i am sort of expressing, but not keeping the milk if that makes sense, i am emptying my boobs every couple of days so that they dont get too heavy and sore, as i know after a couple of days my boobs are hugely full and heavy and sore. i do mine in a hot shower, helps me get all the last drops out and relieves the pain.

ive spoken to my midwife and she says its perfectly normal (im preg with DC3) and its safe to express the milk off to relieve the pressure, and it wont affect my milk supply when i do give birth.

everyones hormones work different, im actually quite happy im leaking at this point, and when i did start, as i had to stop breastfeeding with both previous DC as i wasnt producing enough, so leaking this much this early gives me good faith that i will be able to do it properly this time

try expressing them till you cant get anymore out and whack some breast pads in, if nothing else, you wont be in pain and you will feel much more human!

Mine leaked from 20 weeks with my last pregnancy but only at night so not really a problem except having to wash the sheets more often! I had LOADS of milk when it came in, which was good as my little man was a milk monster!

I fed DS until he was 15 months but I am now 24 weeks pregnant again but I have no leaking so far, although there are clearly lots of changes going on in there!
