I am due to have my first baby in November and would really appreciate any feedback or recommendations from people who have used a doula. What were the main benefits, were there any downsides, would you recommend it? Just generally interested in people's experiences.
We live in West London and if anyone can recommend a doula in my neck of the woods, that would be great! Would definitely consider a trainee doula too (wanting to keep the cost down...).
