Calf pain this morning - do I call MW?

About 6ish I woke with bad pain in my calf. A few times I have 'pulled' one of my calf muscles and it's been really bad, but this time it's different. Not as painful but isn't easing like the cramping before. I have been pretty housebound with SPD, but I have been pottering around and walking DS down the school lane (100 yards) a few times a week. DH has already taken the day off because I managed to 'pull' something in my tummy too getting back into bed. It's not swollen, or red... I have no idea what to do Thanks

Yes. You need checking for a DVT.

cardamomginger · 11/05/2010 10:09

Agreed - do get checked for DVT if you have been housebound like this. MW, GP or go to hospital.
Hope all is well X

call the midwife straight away, could be DVT as youve been inactive with SPD.

are you wearing stockings at all or having any injections of blood thinners? definitly call the midwife straight away, they should get you up to the hospital or GPs for a scan to check you for DVT

No stocking/blood thinners - I am quite overweight too. DH is just taking DS1 to nursry then I will call, thanks
