Constant UTI-y feeling

I'm nearly 16 weeks and was wondering if anyone else's poor bladder is being put through the wringer?

Last week I saw my GP thinking I had a UTI (constant feeling of needing to wee, a bit stingy, uncomfortable urethra) and was given some antibiotics. However I still feel like I have a mild UTI. Is this just pregnancy bladder?!

I have had a really stubborn UTI. Go back to your GP with another urine sample - if you still have these symptoms, it might be that the AB's you had didn't clear it up and you need to try another one. I have to say my bladder does feel like it will never quite be the same again and I think to some extent that IS pregnancy bladder (e.g. needing to wee ALL the time!) BUT, I would be vigilant about these symptoms as you don't want to leave a persistent UTI untreated. I went back to my dr about 5 times and they took it seriously every time. Good luck and feel better
