Is 36 too old?

Is 36 too old to have another baby? I already have three beautiful children the youngest being one but recently I can't stop feeling broody. All I think about is having another baby, I've even been dreaming about it, its driving me mad! We can make room for another but money is tight as it is for most people at the moment. Surely three should be enough! why do I want another?

I would say it's not too old.

I am 38 and expecting my first, I'll be 39 by the time DC arrives.

NO.

I was 36 when I had my first, 38 a month after my second and 39 (nearly 40) when I had my 3rd and last.

I'm 3 and pregnant with my first, my mum was 36 when she had me! So no it isn't too old, or anywhere near too old!! (Although my mum does tell me that back in 78 when she was pregnant she was termed a 'geriatric mother' by the hospital) How times have changed!!

Good Lord, the only thing 36 is too old for is pigtails and my little pony.

Get shagging woman.

Just to echo the others, my ex-boss had both of hers after 36, had number 2, 9 days before her 40th birthday!

Don't tell my sister, she is 37 and trying for her first! Lol at SOH

Where do you live? In the outer Hebrides?

Mid-thirties is heading for normal for a first child never mind a 4th down here. I am 38 and pg with no 3. I am way fitter and healthier this time as I ran a Marathon after ds2 and lost loads of weight. If you are fit and healthy I can't see any reason not to.

Look around you, it is totally normal.
Do you really think 36 is old?
