hi
i just found out i was pregnant last wednesday (the 28th of april)

a day after that i started to get pin and needles in my hands and a bit in my feet too, my limbs feel often numb or cold like if i slept on them. the symptoms are even worse at night.
i made some research on internet and saw things about the carpal tunnel syndrom but they talk about swelling wrist (or ankle) which i dont have.

as anyone experience the same ? my gp hasnt been able to give me an answer,
it really stresses me out and ruin the excitement of my first pregnancy...

Are you sure you aren't actually sleeping funny on them at night?! I think it's most likely to be coincidence, but worth mentioning to the doctor. is it posible ou could be hyperventilating slightly while you breathe - most of us breathe too shallowly and this can lead to pins and needles.

Carpal tunnel syndrome tends to happen much later on, as you get bigger and bigger and the volume of fluid in your body increases massivle. it could be hormonal as well - almost everything else is!

hi
thanks for your message
no i am not sleeping on them
i ve been extra careful to sleep on my back since that happen
i feel it also during the day (but less than at night)
i have seen on the website that it could be vitamin b12 deficiency so will see if taking some of this will help...
