I had these and they were really quite painful. I remember posting about it on here and being told it was common, so not in itself anything to worry about. Are you otherwise feeling ok?

wonderif · 06/05/2010 23:06

well i dont really know tonight i feel very flushed on it and just exhausted.

think will try and get some sleep see if they ease tomorrow.

ta for replying, reassuring to know others get them.

Had them too

Was told not to worry as long as I don't bleed. Apparently, if you think about it, it;s the stretching and rearrangement. I guess it's surprising it doesn't hurt more!

Hope it goes well. 6 more days till my scan.

I asked my Midwife about this, apparently around the time that your body is suppose to have a period you can get cramps. So getting them around seven/eight weeks would be par the course. I had them around that time and again at around about 11 weeks. Babys still fine, but if you're worried contact your midwife or Doctors.

Hi Wonderif, I'm the same. Quite painful cramping. Think I'm probably around 6 weeks & I've been having them for around 10 days, getting worse. From what I can figure out with research, it should be OK as long as there's no bleeding. Starting to worry about things like ectopic pregnancies though - does anyone know what they feel like? I'm exhausted too!

Hope you feel better soon. Before the next round of aches & pains kick in!

Hi, I had loads for quite a few weeks - from about four weeks to about eight weeks. Made me worried at the time but all was well and I'm almost 35 weeks now. Hope you feel better soon

EmmaKateWH · 07/05/2010 22:17

period pain type cramping is very common in early pregnancy- I had it all the time and always worried that I was about to MC but still going strong at 18 weeks.

wonderif · 07/05/2010 22:46

floppy21 the pain associated with eptopic is meant to be like labour pain.

its strange how exhausted you get isnt it already.

hope everyone starts to feel normal again soon

I had very strong cramps around the time I got my bfp and also at 8 weeks...and also had heaps of bleeding..DD arrived 3 weeks ago at 37 weeks

Floopy21 · 08/05/2010 11:17

Thanks Wonderif...I'm a bundle of anxiousness at the mo & I'm not a worrier normally!

Loving the stories of all being well with everyone.

I also had these from the very start (thought it was my period coming) and it was actually very painful!

They recently stopped but I do get a pulling feeling bilaterally from time to time. Its fairly normal I think, but Ive found people dont really warn you about this symptom!
