Varicose veins of the vulva?

Anyone had these? I had some heavy bleeding
today after going to the loo and once I'd stopped it and was able to angle a mirror I found what looked like a blood blister. Around it were black spots that looked like they were going to grow into ones as big as the bleeding one.
Google informs me that this is most likely mini varicose veins as that's what other women are describing.

I'll try and get to the Drs tomorrow but has anyone had these and what did your Dr recommend or is it just something to be put up with? The bleeding was pretty scary tbh!

Wow - sounds like it actually popped! I had a varicose vein in that area while very preg years ago - hideous ache and distended feeling (itchy sort of achey, not nice), but never actually burst (resolved after the birth).

Did this just happen with no previous symptoms? Could it be from trauma rather than a vein (no vigerous exercise in the bedroom, or over-tight jeans with a seam that was caused discomfort)???
