One positive - One negative ???????

I did a preg test on sunday - positive result

today I have done a second one, using a different brand and its negative..

what do I beleive, has anyone else had this problem???

Have you missed a period, as if you haven't and are testing earlier each tests have a different level detector.

I've heard you can have a false negative (ie if it's early days) but not a false positive. Hope you get the outcome you want.

which brands, they have different sensitivity. Did you use first morning urine?

How many days late are you? Sensitivity varies between brands.

i had a strange thing, where I had a positive on the Thursday, but then all the tests (and I did many) were reading negative until the following Monday, when I got dark positives with all brands!?! Very strange! But I've been told the same - you cannot get a false positive. The only thing that guves a positive result is the pregnancy hormone.

How dark was the positive line? ie. was it very very very faint? Did the line have a colour to it, or was it like a greyish colour?
