Hi all,

Imafter some serious help and reassurence,
Today I have been having cramping like pain in my lower tummy and lower back. I havent had no blood but I am concerned.

I already have 1 child and had a spotting with that pregnancy but dont remember any pain.
I then had a miscarrage after the birth of my son and had horendous bleeding but NO pain!!! Im worried this could be the start of another miscarrage!!!!!

Help me please xx

Wow, how do you know you're pregnant at only 3 wks? Did you get a super early BFP on a First Response? Or do you mean 3 wks from conception?

Mild cramping is quite normal in early pregnancy, I had lots of it, try not to worry. If it gets severe you could contact your local EPU and see if they can see you (sometimes you need to go through the GP). It sounds too early to see anything on a scan but they can take blood and check your HCG and progesterone levels and then do a scan when they are high enough. That's what they did for me when I had pain early in this pregnancy and it all worked out fine.

Sorry for your loss. I've been there and know how anxious it makes you feel when you get your next BFP at a mc. Fingers x'd this is a sticky one for you.

I am about 3 weeks from conception so very early!!

The cramping is very mild, but enough for me to notice ( and worry) Im trying not to worry, Keep telling myself, everything will be fine if its ment to be..

Im very anxious as had the miscarrage before,

If im 3 weeks from conception do you know how they will work out how far pregnant i am??

I done a pregnancy test yesterday and had a very faint positive line!!!

thanks x

They do the dates from the first date of your last period so you would be about 5 weeks ish. It is normal to have pain in pregnancy but it's best to get it checked out. They can do an ultrasound to make sure everything looks OK, it is really unlikely that they will detect a heartbeat at this stage though but thickening of the endometrium can be seen.
Is there an early pregnancy unit you can call?

You should see your GP with any sort of abdominal pain - they can refer you for an early scan to check everything is ok and that the pregnancy is in the right place (i.e. not ectopic). Or try the EPU direct as Belle suggests.

I'm not saying this to scare you as the chances are it will be fine, but I had similar pain at around 5 weeks and this is what happened with me.

Good luck

So.. Yesterday you were asking if you were pg but have irregular periods, today you think you're having a miscarriage and are 5 weeks pregnant.
And in between you think you're going through the menopause?
