I walked every day (with my dogs) even when I was almost throwing up alongside the river bank - sorry TMI!

I also did a lot of swimming which was fantastic for my back.

i carried on doing aquafit up to about 33 weeks (am now 38) as i found it better than aerobics out of water

Pregnancy Pilates is great - really recommend that. I also do pregnancy yoga, which I think is probably good for me (lots of stretching and relaxing) but always gives me the giggles. Otherwise I swim and cycle.

All these suggestions sound great! Would just inject a note of caution about stretching too much - although anything you do in a pregnancy related class will be fine. What with all the relaxin charging around your body relaxing ligaments and getting things to loosen and stretch, you want to watch stretching too much and at too great an angle, particularly hips and pelvis. Admittedly I'm a bit hyper mobile at the best of times, but if I stretch too much I notice I end up with more back pain and twinges rather than less!
