..does that have any bearing on the likelihood of subsequent DC arriving before their EDD?

TIA

Well ds1 was 1 week early and ds2 was 3 weeks early.

But I think it varies hugely.

sunchild77 · 03/05/2010 14:21

all 3 early.

lucykate · 04/05/2010 08:23

both mine were 5 days early, but i have a friend who was 3 weeks early with her first, and 2 weeks overdue with her second.

Jacksmybaby · 04/05/2010 09:27

Depends on the reason for the earliness I think. Some reasons (e.g. placental abruption) are likely to recur in subsequent prgs and some are just one-offs.

According to my consultant some women just naturally have shorter pregnancies than others.

tvfriend · 04/05/2010 16:40

1st- DD- born 36 weeks
2nd- DS- born 34+4

2babesmum · 04/05/2010 21:28

DD2 1 week early but planned c section

giddywithglee · 05/05/2010 11:34

I'm on my first pregnancy, but my sis had one baby 2 days early, the next on her due date, and the third a couple of days late.

MrsB2B · 11/05/2010 15:06

Hey,

I had 2 extreme differences:

DS - 13 weeks early!!
DD - 2 weeks overdue

... Just shows no two pregnancies are the same, i was convinved DD would be early but nope she held on to the bitter end!

xxx
