Im 3 days late with my period, which in itself is quite strange as im so regular.
I took the morning after pill 10 Days ago, but i have some early pregnancy symptoms, i have nausea, headaches and tender boobs/sore nipples.
could the morning after pill have made me late or am i pregnant?

it could have made you late and could also be contributing to the pregnancy like symptoms.

Have you done a test?

largeginandtonic · 03/05/2010 09:14

The morning after pill can fail.

I would test asap.

Could just be you are late as the hormones from the pill are messing with your cycle.

BeeSpee · 04/05/2010 15:40

I took a test this morning and it came back positive, so i took another just to be sure and that came back negative... THey were done within 10 minutes of each other.
So now im doubly confused?!

It's positive. One may have been faulty or if was a different brand then they have different sesitivities to the HCG hormone they are measuring.

How do you feel about it?

NinjaTurtle · 04/05/2010 18:59

I took the morning after pill in December. I was also having lots of symptoms not long after taking the pill. I took two tests on the same day, within a couple of hours of each other, the first was definitely positive, the second was very faint and questionable. I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant.

largeginandtonic · 04/05/2010 19:02

How are you Ninja? Must have been a shock.

I am currently 8 weeks in to a surprise. Have amazed myslef ho quickly i have come round to it.

NinjaTurtle · 04/05/2010 19:09

largegin It was originally a bit of a shock, yes. I'm not sure why, but it never really occured to me that the MAP could fail, naive I know.
I'm absolutely fine about it now, began to come to terms with it pretty quickly. I can't imagine not being pregnant now, ie, what it would have been like if the MAP had worked iyswim. Glad to hear you have also come round to the idea quite rapidly

largeginandtonic · 04/05/2010 19:18

Good to hear that Ninja
