Hi all - Me and my partner have been trying to concieve for only 3 weeks.. being very keen I did a test about a week ago and it was negative. Today I did another home test (just a cheapy one from the chemist) to find it negative for the first 3 mins. I then left it and came back to it about a hour later just have another look and I found a faint line... the line was noticeble but was faint!! I have now got my hopes up but am still unsure weather it is a pos or a neg!!!
someone help me please!!

i am afraid it is most unlikely to be a postive result

if the test was negative within the time you are supposed to read it , what you saw was an evaporation line

it is very tempting to test early ,but you are best waiting until your period is due or a little late and use the first wee of teh day

do another one first thing in the morning, that should be definitive. should always use first wee of the day when it's early days

Its very hard to know if I am late on my period. I have endometrious and my periods and VERY irregular.

I am planing on leaving it a couple of days and then try again on wedesday with a clearblue digital..

I already have one child. I also had a 2nd pregnancy but miscarried!!
with the 2nd pregnancy this same thing happened, the line on the test back then was again very faint.

This time with it being planned, I didnt know if i was just seeing things becasue i wanted it to be there, however I got my partner to view it and YES he could see the line...

After the the has relapsed. is there always a evapouration line??

Don't use a Digital test, they are much less sensitive.

If you want help from other mumsnetters charlotte89, it is not a good idea to tell other posters, completely out of the blue, on another thread, that you hope they miscarry.

Grow up.
