Question for anyone who has had a GTT

Quick question for all the GTT ladies

How did you get your results back??
The reason I ask is that I got a rather vague letter from the dr's this morning. It said the results of my tests were back and I was to make a non-urgent appointment with whoever sent me for the test.

Now I'm wondering what this is about, obviously being a bank holiday I can't even phone the dr until Tuesday!!

I'm thinking its more likely to be low iron levels or something, as I also had my 28wk bloods done at the same time as my GTT.

Do you think if it was to do with my GTT that it would be more urgent than this?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts probably worrying over nothing as usual!!

Had a similar thing and the results were normal, so I wouldn't worry if it's a non-urgent appt they are asking you to book. I had to go back because my white blood cell count was a weeny bit high, nothing to do with the GTT.

I had my results back the same day, telling me my glucose results were fine. if its non urgent, i doubt its anything to do with the glucose results, maybe your slightly anaemic or have an infection etc. i wouldnt worry, but if you are worrying about it just make an appointment to see the doctor on tuesday, you could ask for a phone call appointment?
