phil and ted apple green wasp colour!!!!!

Hi All
I have been tooying with various phil and ted buggies...
vibe,dash and sport.
Toysrus have the apple sport on offer..
dd will be 2 qnd 4months when no 4 arrives and i do need 2 walk eveyday.. as as she fits in the top seat then i think i will go for the sport and jazz it up with liners etc... love the green
I have seen only one review on mothercare the mum says it attracted wasps really badly.. now im bothered..a friend has one she says she hasnt had the wasp problem and love hers and you can get them cheaper than the others...
any thoughts on this please.. i would be horrified if wasps liked my wheels...

I have one. Have had it for 3 years. We live in Spain so have a loong summer. I've never had a wasp problem with it, either here or on summer holidays in UK.

mine is an apple green sport, had it since 07 and never had wasp trouble.

Pros of the colour - safety when crossing roads etc as cars can see you easily, being able to see each other on crowded beaches or if you lose each other you just go 'Have you seen a man with a green buggy?'
Cons - shows dirt easily. May clash with dcs' clothes if you are bothered about such things

we do love it btw.

eh? attract wasps???? only if you doused it in sugar syrup surely?!

i have a green one and had no trouble with any insects / arachnids or otherwise. only pesky kids.

maybe the reviewer in question just had very very sweet children

Thanks mum's i did think that i just wanted re assurance.. the sports are £295 at the mo! And if i shop around they are defo the best price and a fab colour.. i am so glad you recommend the sport...(SethStarkaddersMum)
there is an army of sports at school and only 1 green so want to stand out a little lol.. saftey aspect is for sure a bonus!! you can get some funky liners and snuggles to so thought it would be fun to personalise it.. i am a buggy holic and no4 is our last and i never had to have a double before!!!

i have apple green E3 but wish I'd bought black as the green looks really grubby after a while (sun cream, mud etc)

Don't have a P&T but use a Mac. Quest. It has the bright green inside hood bit (technical I know ) and I have noticed that it does attract alot of wasps!

May just be coincidence but may not!

Can't speak from personal experience but my friend has apple green Phil and Ted and it does attract flies etc on warm days!
