Hello folks,

I'm 17+1 and last Saturday night I was woken up by a really sharp pain to the right of my belly button that seemed to go right through to my back if that makes sense. Really took my breath away and couldn't find a position that eased it at all. It eventually faded, but this evening it's re-appeared 3 times, each for about 5 minutes. Does anyone know if this is something I should be worried about? Friend suggested this may be baby lying in an awkward position, but I'm wondering if I'm far enough on for that?

In case you hadn't guessed, this is my first!

Sounds like something worth ringing the midwife about tbh, might just be cramp but would prob be worth getting it checked out and would put your mind at rest.

Thanks girlie, I think I will. It's not a cramp-y feeling but whatever it is certainly stops me in my tracks!
