I'm due to be going to an indoor rock concert in a couple of weeks when I will be 27 weeks pregnant.

They are seated tickets (luckily) but I am concerned about the noise and the effect on the baby.

Does anyone have any advice or experience with this matter?

Thanks in advance!

I went to a concert that proved to be spectacularly noisy when 20+weeks w/ dd, and panicked like mad, but the internet and books reassured me that they're really well insulated in there, and there's no cause to worry. I wouldn't recommend pogoing or stage diving though...

Go - you and baby will be fine! I went to a gig at around 32 weeks and DD boogied away in my tummy, no issues at all.

Hi! I went to see the Rocky Horror Show when I was around 22 weeks, it was pretty loud. dd did kick a bit, but no more than usual really. I'd go, you'll be fine. Who are you going to see?

GO GO GO

Enjoy yourself - cos you might not get to go again for the longest time .

ds loved the U2 concert he went to when I was 5 months.

He does like his music loud, even now, though!

I went to one 10 days before DD2 was born, security stop me in the way in asked where I was sitting, showed me where first aid stand was and wared me of the loud pyrotechnics. But I was fine and DD2 arrived 10 days later on due day after a 2 hour labour and 30 minutes in hospital.

You will be fine, have a great time.

I went to see wet wet wet, so not really rock, but three weeks before due date i did go to the brits

I saw Muse at Wembley at 6 months pregnant and went to a festival at 7.5 months with no apparent adverse effects.

DD didn't react at all even when I was dancing but she usually saved her antics for the wee small hours when I was trying to sleep.

Go, enjoy!!
