ARGH! - Peoples attitudes at work

I?m 31 weeks pregnant, still working and plan to continue till 38 weeks. Feel mostly fine and perfectly able to cope. I find some peoples attitude towards me incredibly frustrating. I feel like people are working around me as if I am already on maternity leave. Have raised specific issues with my line manager who is sympathetic but ended the conversation by saying his knows my emotions will be all over the place during my final trimester which made me feel like a hysterical pregnant woman. Am I? Does anyone else feel like this at work?

Oh yes, I am only 27 wks and have already been sidelined to writing reports and staying away from clients in case I frighten them! I was frustrated at first but making the most of taking things easy now. I have a toddler already so am quite happy to have a few easy days a week at work!

I think a lot of places plan far in advance for maternity leave, it's not like giving notice to leave a job, they have months to wait for you to go. So to be honest they probably 'move on' by third trimester.

You are right to be frustrated, but use it to your advantage I would say!

Its awful the other way, my work seemed to pile on more and more stuff to do before I went. I snapped a bit at 35 weeks as it got to the point where I had twice (at least ) my usual workload.
