can labour feel like a constant tummy ache rather than contractions...

you can time? i'm 40 weeks and woke up lat night with tummy pains i couldn't sleep through..they're quite bad this morning.but like i say,it's nothiing i can time..more like a bad tummy ache.

have had 2 sweeps and a show....

anyone have any similar experience that turned out to be labour?

With my two previous labours I had this, for several hours, coupled with an upset tummy. Then gradually they started forming a pattern. Since then I've been told an upset tummy is natures way of 'clearing out' ready for the birth.
If you've had a show it sounds promising! Good luck x

you'd think i'd know..this is my 3rd! it's all so unpredictable though.

i had one sweep last friday and then a show ,and another sweep and show on sunday..i def thought i was on the way,but then the pains stopped.

it makes me worry something is wrong..pregnancy is a vulnerable time isn't it?
