Are you meant to wear a "bump band" tucked into trousers or over them?

SIL has lent me some maternity stuff including bump bands but I don't really get how they are meant to be worn!

hey there we meet again.... I hadn't thought about wearing them inside but now you have pointed it out i shall no doubt end up thinking about it in the morning, i have been wearing mine outside as they keep my jeans up!

I wear them over the trousers

Over the top. I wore one yesterday although not pg as my trousers are too big on the waist. It was fab, they didn't fall down once!

I have worn it over the top, so I can continue to wear my normal trousers but just with the top button 'extended' by doing it up with a hairbobble. The band hid this. I've bought some long tops now though and they work better, I found the band quite annoying actually.

OVer.

They cover your gaping trousers

I wear them over. It's meant I can carry on wearing pre pregnancy jeans with the button undone, and also keeps them up!

I've seen a lot of women wearing them on over their tops, which I think looks really bizarre! I always wear them under, helps stop non maternity tops riding up and showing my belly!

Has anyone found them useful for easing back ache? My midwife suggested it could help with the lower backache I've been having for the last few weeks.

Thanks x

my spd support belt supports my hips and back and sometimes also holds up my trousers (with a very long top over it!). It's like a body size tubigrip bandage
