Thrush skin infection

Am 10 weeks pregnant and have a really itchy and red rash on the side of each breast, doesn't extend to the nipples fortunately.

I saw the Dr at ante natal clinic today who said due to high progesterone levels you are more prone to thrush during pregnancy.
She has prescribed canesten cream.

Am still bf DS and am concerned it may spread into ducts and /or transmit to him.

Has anyone else experienced this and have any advice?

i used canestan powder which was more comfortable than cream!!

Thanks Fizzielove, will give that a try if no better in a few days with cream
