SPD - will my pelvis snap?

I had SPD with no.2 although it was 'picked up' late(I told MW who said pain was normal, saw a temp. MW who diagnosed but too late @38/39 weeks). I was pretty housebound at the end and TBH forgot just how horrific it was. I felt the same thing starting at 20 weeks and got a form to give to the physio unit at the hospital, but still at 32 weeks I have heard nothing. I will chase it up tomorrow as I am guessing it shouldn't take that long, but, it honestly feels like my pelvis is going to crumble. Not very very sore, actually snap apart. Please can someone tell me I am bonkers and painful as it may be, this never happens...?

Poor you.I can't tell you this never happens but when I had dc1 I felt like my pelvis had come apart and was no longer joined up at the front. Now expecting DC3 I have spd again but it feels more like I've been whacked in the pubic bone .Ooouch. You need to see a physio who has experience of spd. Mine(NHS) has and manages to straighten up my pelvis and then it gets gradually worse again until my next appt. I still can't walk very far but at least I'm able to potter round the house.I was referred a 16w and now am 29w and have seen her 3 times. maybe you should make a fuss?
ps come and join the spd sofa thread, it's a bit long to read but you can get some good tips from the previous postings.
