Taking acidophilis from 37 weeks to reduce colic?

I saw a piece today at my local health centre about taking acidophilis from 37 weeks and throughout breastfeeding as a way to build up your own and the baby's gut immunity. Apparently this can then help reduce colic.

DS1 had terrible silent reflux and am fully prepared for it to happen again, although if I can reduce the wind, even just a little, I will try anything!

Has anyone taken this supplement and noticed any benefits?

I don't know about taking it for colic, but it would certainly help prevent you getting thrush whilst breastfeeding, which can be the most awful experience. Good luck, I am sure it can only do good things.
