How early did you get a positive result on home preg test?

Really really really really want to do test but it's wayyyy too early, can you please share stories?!

I tested on the day my period was due and got a positive result - not quite sure what you mean by way too early but that was as early as I was prepared to test!

I had a blood test at the dr's which was taken at 8dpo and showed positive. I did an HPT at 10dpo (a first response) and that also showed positive.

I guess it entirely depends on you and the level of hormones! I started having symptoms at 8dpo, but may have been earlier I only remember thinking I felt far too ill to go to the gp and have a needle stuck in my arm!

I tested on the day after AF was due. I had been trying for over two years, so I have been in your shoes wanting to test earlier than should. Avoid it if you can as if it is too early it may no show but then you will convince yourself that it was because you tested to early and live in hope that it will become positive.

I did lots of tests, 10days past ovulation and got a +ve well over 6 days before my period was due.,

Working out on dates, it was actually only 9 days past conception

3 days before my period, and got a very faint +

I tested 3 days after period was due using Clearblue and got a (faint) positive. This works out at 17 days post ovulation. Had the blood test 2 days after that and hormone levels clearly showed a pregnancy. Good luck!

12 DPO, which was two days before period was due, using an internet cheapy test. Fingers crossed for a BFP for you!

10 dpo very faint by af due was very clear positive

I had 25-27 day cycles and got a faint +ve on day 25, was with a first response test. Next day did clear blue and still faint positive.

i got a + 5 days before af was due with a clearview test (like the ones used in clinics rather than the ones you pee on) i was 1 day overdue before i got a + with a clear blue digital.

I had very irregular cycles but really didnt feel right- under the weather, emotional and bit crampy. Pregnancy test said i was 2-3 wks. Fingers crossed for you!

2 or 3 days before my period.Very very faint lines.

I got a positive test the day before my period was due using one of those Clearblue digital ones. I was going to wait but had a dream that I took the test and it was positive, so thought I'd do it anyway!

2 days before my period was due with a clearblue digi - said 1-2 weeks. Was middle of the day, not FMU.

I did a poundland one 4 days before my period and it was positive.

I tested on the day I thought my period was due - negative. But I'd only come off the pill 3 weeks before so wasn't really sure if/when I'd be due a period. Then got a positive 4 days later. Followed by about 7 other tests just to make sure

I tested with an internet cheapie and got a positive 3 days before I was due.
Followed by a further 6 over the next two weeks to see that line go darker
