I know they are, really, but haven't been pregnant since 2007! I'm at 5 weeks and on and off during the entire week since I did the test I've had aches like low-level period pain (small of back and in womb) and sort of stretchy pains in the ligaments down the sides of my groin. That second pain I remember all too well - I had it pretty much the entire pregnancy with DS. Can't remember period-like pains though (I'm sure I've forgotten!) and wonder how long they can go on for. I'm sure it's just things settling down, but I've had two MCs and it does unnerve me a bit.

Not bleeding, and feel pretty pregnant already (tired and a bit queasy, sore boobs).

Thanks! It's just one of those things - seems a millennium since I was last in early pregnancy and you do forget.

The twinges up the sides of my groin though, went on all pregnancy last time - that I do remember!

Yes, that sounds v normal, I have had all sorts of pains and twinges, etc (and also had a mc which was not preceded by any pain at all). Congratulations!
