Anyone tried rosehip oil for stretch mark prevention?

At 25 weeks in my first pregnancy and doing wonderfully with my cocoa butter, shea butter, vitamin E regimen. So far, I've had no stretch marks, but I think I've reached the limit of how big my middle section has ever gotten and my skin will start to stretch now.

Has anyone had stretch mark prevention success with natural products using rosehip oil?

Unfortunately nearly all stretch-mark susceptibility is genetic - things you put on your skin will make it smell and feel nice but don't penetrate the outer layer of skin to the crucial layer that tears when you get stretch marks. If they did, you wouldn't be allowed to use them when pregnant! Creams are good for the itch though.

I am afraid it's genetic. I used everything going, mainly to stop the itching and had nothing until the last few weeks when I got so many stretchmarks that I gave up trying to see any normal skin inbetween them. Thighs, boobs, stomach, knees, they were all over.

You will smell lovely though.

human, I am dying to know who you are under that disguise

The disappointment would floor you.

But on topic, I agree you can't stop them. And yay at finding another one with knee issues. Never found another person who has had this, and I weep now it's summer and I'm too scared to show them

Ah, I'm on the floor. Looking at the stars and all that guff

Get up. You're doing your knees no favours you know. Stretchmarks and, er, Floor Knee (technical term) is a terrible combination.

My legs look great. In tights. Opaque ones. With control panels. From toe to waist.

Well indeedy. I dread to think what happens when I have to hang up my opaques for the summer. It's enough to make me wish for perpetual winter. I would scare small children. Imagine being knee height and coming face to, erm, knee with that

Thanks for your answer! I was afraid so, but hoping nonetheless.
