Coping with irritated uterus?

Hi, I've been having regular uncomfortable (not painful) 'tightenings', presumably braxton hicks, since falling down stairs last week. I was seen at the labour ward, and found not to be in premature labour, but they had some concerns about the frequency of the 'tightenings', so was told to rest.

Four days on, it is a bit better, less frequent, but if I start trying to do stuff then they come back stronger. I don't know if I should be resting until they have gone completely, or if this is something I need to just live with. Anyone got any experience of an irritated uterus?

Hi
I suffered with irritable uterus and i also had history of preterm labour so i took it seriously easy and got to term. One trick is a bath with epsom salts, it's magnesium sulphate and really relaxes the uterus.

How many weeks are you now?
Bump - does anyone have any advice?

I had an irritable uterus with DS3. Take it easy and take paracetamol is the only advice i can give sorry.

Very little you can actually do about it.

BTW DS3 was born 2 weeks early (no history of early babies) and i started with it around 31/32 weeks too. But with other issues.
