Dr gave me some yesterday, doctor said they are safe to take, did a search on google and it said that there is no proof if they work or not, they seem to make me feel less nauseas. Has anybody else taken them and have they worked?h

I haven't needed antisickness meds but am a specialist nurse and use prochlorperazine for patients with nausea and although it is probably not the most effective it does have its uses. Do you have the one that dissolves under your gum or tongue? The good thing about that is that you will absorb it. If you take anything by mouth whilst still vomiting you will either bring it back up or you won't absorb it so pointless taking. You need to take it as prescribed over the weekend and if no joy go back to see your doc. I know that another drug used is cyclizine and that is a stronger more effective drug which might help. Hope this has helped you a bit?
