TIA

Probably not. Those ones are only checking for glucose whereas your midwife will be looking for infection markers, blood, protein, ketones, glucose and pH

no they're not, as EC says, the ones used by midwives test for a few different things. And they wouldn't be that cheap.

Thanks for that, might be these or these then. Never guessed they tested for so much on one little strip.

BE is there any reason you cannot see the midwife during your pregnancy? I have a friend who did this, but she was living in China at the time and did not have easy access to health care. She bought urine test strips.

I am not buying any.

I am just looking in case I want a break from being nagged into tests I don't want.

Is this about the blood tests that the midwife said you needed but the consultant told you you didn't need them? I saw that thread.

Blood tests should be ordered by a doctor anyway, not a midwife.

Yes and I am worried about growth scan issue being raised again, already measuring 1 cm over...sigh.

Poor you, I was hoping this pregnancy might be a little less stressful for you.

So was I.

Well maybe they will change their mind next week and I can enjoy the rest of my pregnancy.
