Hi, I am 40 weeks + 3 pregnant with my third and feel so fed up. Tried everything to bring labour on. Was convinced it would be early like the other two. Anyone else in the same position?

I feel your pain....I'm 40 weeks + 5. Had midwife today and had a sweep, she said my cervix is soft but posterior so not sure how effective it will be. Feeling really fed up and bored of waiting now.

I've been eating pineapple, taking long walks (2-3 miles a day) bouncing on the gym ball and nothings working so far!

Its my 1st baby (its a girl) so I'm anxious that I don't really know what labour will be like. I've been having tightenings in my tummy and groin for the last 45 mins or so pretty much consistently so I don't know if thats the result of the sweep....??

Anyone got any clues?!

Hi I'm 41 weeks, and sick as a chip. Absolutely no sign!!!! Very unhelpful surgery and midwife who wont see me until MONDAY to do a sweep!!!! I have Tried EVERYTHING else with zero results!!!! ARGGGGGGGGGGGH xx

41 weeks today and still here KatiePul I had a sweep on Thurs and another booked for Monday (although I had to beg my midwife for it...shes also quite unhelpful!)
