Anyone else started to feel sick again in the 3rd trimester? I thought I had put the misery of feeling sick all day long behind me.

Oh yes, what a delight. I smugly thought I'd escaped any actual vomiting after just feeling sick in the first trimester, but at 26 weeks have started throwing up and feeling utterly rubbish. The indigestion doesn't help, and seems to be what's causing the nausea and worse....
Feeling very guilty as having a day off work, but I have no value to add today, am also knackered which is normal but I did hope to be blooming by now....
Roll on July 29th and having an appetite again

I never thought that indigestion could cause nausea but makes sense! Maybe that is why I feel so terrible. Was up half the night feeling like I was going to throw up at any minute! My 1st pregnancy was a breeze compared to this one. I keep telling my DH its cause this one is a boy. Only a man could make you feel this awful for 9 months!! I am not sure how I can cope for another 9 weeks of this.

I've suddenly got it back at 23 weeks - I had to get off the train yesterday morning as I thought I was going to be sick all over the poor woman next to me! I also thought I'd seen the back of it at about 12 weeks, and I'm not welcoming it back! I must say that a blast of fresh air knocked the nausea out of me, and I jumped back on the train just as the doors closed. So perhaps cold air is the way forward...?

I've been on Zantac twice a day for the last 4 weeks and its the only thing that enables me to eat. Everything gives me indigestion, even water. It was so bad that swallowing actually hurt, I didn't want to complain as I know it's normal but I saw an obstetrician for something else and she said if gaviscon and other antacids weren't touching it (which they weren't and the gaviscon made me puke!) to take zantac or omeprazole, they're both safe in pregnancy so I'm happily popping pills and can now face small quantities of food. It's definitely worse at night as when you lie down everything washes back up your gullet, I now sleep on a million pillows but still felt like I was about to throw up for most of the night- I blame the taramasalata!

you poor thing. sounds horrendous but happy the new medicine is helping. Do you drink any milk? I find when is really bad a glass of cold milk really helps

Yes, I am 29 weeks and for the last 2 weeks been getting nausea at around 3am every noght/morning, only when I am in bed as soon as i get up its fine.

I have started drinking hot milk before bed and if really bad a piece of toast helps.
