Sorry all, I feel like I'm asking lots of questions at the moment but I'm at that stage in the process...without anyone to ask really, as the doctor isn't that helpful... so any help would be really
I'm 6w+5. On 6w+2, I had a scan and there was just one sac. Difficult to see, too early to hear heartbeat but consultant made out the sac etc.
I also had my HGC levels done on that day, and repeated them today.
On 6w+2, my HGC level was 69,000. Apparently, according to the scale, normal range is 9,000 - 56,000 for week 6. If everything is okay, and it's doubled today, then that puts me much higher - week 7 is range goes up to a much higher range.
It was natural conception, although I've got high FSH.
My question is - does this automatically indicate twins/multiples? And if so, would it not have been caught at scan? Or is it okay to be higher? Although I know there could be problems linked to that...
Thanks all. Really appreciate it.
