Did anyone's boobs NOT get bigger? (34 weeks)

I'm 34 weeks, and I think I must be the only pregnant woman in the world whose boobs have not got bigger! I was a 32DD, and now I'm a 36A-B. Is this normal?

Well it's interesting! Who knows what our bodies are doing at the moment?!

When pg with my dd my cup size didn't change until she was born, and then they went scary-huge, from a C to G. This time round (am 30 weeks with dc2) I've gone from a 32B to 36D...seriously hoping I don't have a massive increase after baby arrives!

lionmummy · 20/04/2010 23:15

Unfortunately not much change; I had the smallest size in M&S maternity bras.
Even after my milk came in there wasn't a lot of difference. Think DH was somewhat disappointed.

cinnamongreyhound · 21/04/2010 06:46

Mine didn't change at all during pregnancy, not even on my body measurement. 36F all the way through. I went up one cup size when milk came in but more for comfort as they were so hard and full and was back to previous size a few weeks later. On the positive side, I had loads of milk, fed DS until 15 months and boobs are fuller than they were before.

This time not a lot of change either but nipples haven't stopped being sore since 5 weeks and now 21weeks

littlemisslozza · 21/04/2010 06:51

No, mine didn't change in either of my pregnancies (until my milk came in!), no soreness either. I wouldn't worry.

Lizzylou · 21/04/2010 07:10

Mine grew slightly in the first trimester both pgs, but that could just have been all the weight I put on! They then stayed the same until my milk came in after birth.

Good luck!

DomesticG0ddess · 21/04/2010 07:48

Mine aren't much bigger, just rounder/fuller and generally less saggy, am 14 weeks. If it's not your first then your boobs do not change as much. But I imagine they will balloon with milk after the birth! Be happy - the more changes in size you get, the worse condition they will be in afterwards!

twolittlemonkeys · 21/04/2010 08:37

Mine stayed at 34B right through pregnancy, then when my milk came in, went straight up to a 34DD!

nunnie · 21/04/2010 09:12

I am a 32A and remained that throughout the pregnancy and after, they felt fuller and bigger, but when I got measured they were 32A. I was quite looking forward to going up a cup size or 2 but alas it wasn't meant to be.

Mine hardley changed with DS and it looks like it is going the same way with this one....The one pg symptom I actually want

Ladyemmalou83 · 21/04/2010 09:22

Im 31 weeks today and im still in the bras that I wore pre-pregnancy. I suspect that they will grow quite soon as they seem to be more achey....

VeronicaCake · 21/04/2010 09:50

I'm 37 weeks and was still wearing pre-pregnancy bras comfortably until about 3 weeks ago. I got measured for nursing bras yesterday and have gone from a 34A/B to a 34D (but the D is to accoommodate breast pads too, would probably be a C otherwise).

You might find they expand a bit in the last few weeks of pregnancy. But if they don't then the brightside is you save a fortune on bras! Also the less they expand the less likely they are to droop afterwards. My Mum is the same size as me and breastfed twins for a year (which she admits did make them pretty big for a while!), and still has nipples that point upwards at 60.

Trillian42 · 21/04/2010 17:33

That's reassuring all, thanks for that! I hadn't thought about the 'less droop' benefits

Mine went from 36b to 40b as my ribcage expanded in my first pregnancy. After a few weeks they were a 38d (whoop, whoop) but back to a saggier 36b post bf. I'm a slighltly fuller b/c cup at 22 weeks this time.

I was very disappointed as I was hoping pregnancy would even out my pear shaped body but it was not too be.

Allegrogirl · 21/04/2010 19:19

Meant to say after a few weeks post birth they were a 38d.

manchestermummy · 21/04/2010 20:04

Mine didn't grow at all with DD, neither did they post-birth. Even the tiniest maternity/nursing bras were waaay too big. I'm now 11 weeks with DC2 and for the first time in my life, I have boobs! DH is thrilled.

firsttimer78 · 21/04/2010 20:25

I'm only 16 weeks but mine have got smaller! DH not too impressed - think he was looking forward to me looking like a page 3 model!

tanmu82 · 22/04/2010 09:54

mine didn't really grow with DS until milk came in, and even then not by much. With DD they did go up a couple of sizes, but prob because I put on more weight overall and I BF for longer. This time around at 12+3 they seem fuller already, but not sure if they have grown - will wait at least another 4 weeks to get measured for mat bra unless there is a significant change!

I felt rather cheated both previous times and am hoping for mammoth change this time!
