14 weeks and blood tinged discharge...

I had two significant bleeds at 6/7 weeks, went to EPU and told I had a bleed site but the baby was not affected. Bleeding subsided and stopped by ten weeks.

13 weeks I had my scan, no bleed site evident and good heartbeat detected on the scan. But since then, over a week now, I've had what started as slight browny discharge and today pink tinged discharge.

Please talk me down from the mountain of anxiety I'm currently perched on!

Thank you

You need to get back to the EPU before you drive yourself crazy. Hopefully it's nothing, but you will only know for sure when you get checked out. I've had m/c with no warning signs and healthy pregnancies with intermittent bleeding throughout so I understand your panic but PLEASE go and see someone who can help. Good luck - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you - come back and let us know how you go.

Thanks, I don't mean to reveal by stealth but my DH is stuck in the US at the moment and I could do with some positive stories to keep me feeling positive, if anyone has any?

No stories for you, just good wishes that all is ok...

Did you get a appt yet to discuss it with the epu?

Poor you with dh stuck abroad

Hi emskaboo - I can tell you that your scans so far are very positive! Did your baby measure 13 weeks at the 13-week scan? It's very rare that mc's happen after 12 weeks, if that's any consolation...The light bleeding could very well be from stretching or cervical erosion. If it persists or gets heavy, I'd call you doc. But until then, put your feet up .

Hiya,

I had quite a big bleed at 14+3 it literally gushed for an hour or so I was terrified. I went to the hospital and they scanned me to find a very very wriggly, health bean and no idea where the bleed came from. I had also had a scan at 12+2 and baby was fine. I am now 35 weeks and counting down the days until LO arrives.

Update please . Hope everything is ok.

Hi everyone, sorry for the total silence and thank you all so much for your support. I'm happy to report whilst the bleeding got heavier it has now stopped. EPU were really nice over the phone but basically told me to calm down! I'm not a priority as the bleeding stopped. Fair enough. I've called my mw who was also super lovely and had a long chat with me so I'm feeling much calmer, and just not thinking about it. Apologies for the radio silence, I was spinning out.

Once again thank you all, especially sunny for checking up on me, it's made me well up!
