Keep forgetting to take folic acid

Am 9 weeks and probably forget to take pregnacare 2 or 3 nights a week
I do have marmite most days - and it usually stays down
Think this is OK?

Hi clearBlue - This might be okay for some, and detrimental to others - can't say for sure! If I were you, I'd get one of those vitamin cases with the days of the week on it and put all your vitamins for the week into them...leave it on your kitchen counter, and take them every night with dinner. That's what I do, and I never miss.

You'll be fine, there's folic acid in foods, not just in tablets.

I have mine on the bedside table and take one when I get into bed, so far I have not forgotten, in fact now I have to remind myself not to take them! (I am 14 weeks!)
If you really can't remember why don't you set a reminder on your phone and take it then. You just need to get into the habit!

What I meant ws that obviously you hould try to remember to take them but it's very unlikely you caused any harm so far. Folic acid is also present in broccoli, tomato juice, corn brussels sprouts, bananas strawberries, beans, asparagus, peas...

I brought mine back up most days ;-) I tried to eat cereals with it added to like Crunchy Nut cornflakes etc.. Don't know if bbay will be okay not due till 5/5

I puked mine up both pregnancies.
Ds is fine, this one looks okay thus far at scans.
Taking it is the ideal, but if you forget, not the end of the world. most bread has a fair bit in it too, btw.

Like Daynee, I had to buy a vitamin case, it was stressing me out to keep forgetting. Worked a treat!
